Ironwood Picnic Area, Tucson Mountain Park, January 23, 2010

A small but enthusiastic group of runners toed the line for the first annual event. The weather was cool and clear, and runners were treated to a stunning backdrop of mountains gilded by the late afternoon sun. The hot chocolate was a welcome apres-run beverage for most finishers.
